Hello, Hello! I'm Sam and this is a blog I put together to showcase my cosplay/costume work (among other things). Here you'll find work in progress photos, wigs I've styled, props I've made, costumes I've designed, cosplays I've made for myself or others, and things that you can find for sale on my Etsy. I'm not a professional (yet), but I'd like to be one day.. For information on commissions visit here. Email: email@example.com
Another Commission! This was for the crop top and crop jacket of Rohan from Jojo’s Bizarre Adventures. The jacket is a stretch sateen lined with broadcloth with hand sculpted pieces attached to large hook and eyes to fasten the front and the shirt is a cotton rib-knit that I dyed since the fabric didn’t come in the color I needed.
I have finished the blazer (and also seem to have lost all of my tights in the move I have no idea where they are and I need my black ones this weekend ugh). The blazer features 1 row of functional buttons, pockets, and hastily satin stitched lines on the collar.
I’ve done some slight adjustments to the blazer since taking pictures, mainly adjusting button placement so it closes tighter in the front and tacking down the sailor collar so it stays in place. Once I find my tights Miriai is ready to roll! I’d like to finish the sword before the con but I still have to finish Lust and remake parts of Annie so we’ll see.
If I have time I’m going to make little angel wings to go with it, as well as the little alchemy sculptures that Ed and Al made her which will go in my basket along with maybe some apples or something.
Here is my progress so far on Mirai! I finished the cardigan last night and got the fabric for the blazer cut out so I can start assembling that today. I also have the tights, shoes, glasses, and wig but I’m too lazy to put them on right now.
Here’s my most recently finished commission; Phoebe from Pokemon!
Wrap skirt, Tube top with cage/elastic back, and giant Kanazashi flowers for the headpiece. All cotton (aside from the polyester lining), and the buttons on the Kanazashi centers are made of pink shells.
Made some antler earrings last night out of leftover sculpty I had since I couldn’t sleep. Thinking of putting these on etsy as made to order items but it’ll depend on if I can figure out a way to ship them without worrying about them breaking.
I also made a pair of Halla antlers, but I have to paint them a bit more to get the gold color I want.
